First week
Probably in this order. It's easiest if you take responsibility for
getting through this stuff. Tell your DC what's next and have them show
you what to do.
-
Administrative hassles
-
write your phone number on the list in the daybook
(alphabetical order by first name).
-
exchange phone numbers with your DC
-
get a mail box from your DC
-
add your name to the Long March on the work board
-
Basic mechanics -- They live in the Green Documents (Job
Descriptions) in the binder next to the radio. Go over them with your DC.
They should let you handle about 80% of staffing problems.
-
Red documents --The Red Docs live under the radio. You should
discuss with your DC whether you'll participate in the next Red Docs
Discussion Group or read some each week and discuss with your DC.
This is usually about the most that can be handled for the first week.
But just about every week you should:
-
discuss any problems with your DC
-
read the Daybook to see if there are any meetings or a TGIF or
or a Work Party which you might want to attend
-
discuss whether you should do any preparation for the next time,
(e.g. read any Red Docs for discussion).
-
have your DC put the date on the Long March for anything that's been
completed.

Third Weeks!
